Since I do not have the luxury of time and money anymore for overnight staycations and out of towns, and since it is throwback thursday, I will be writing about my Laguna escape with my office buddies last November of 2010. :)
This was the very first out of town trip I had with my BusinessWorld friends. We planned ahead on where we will stay for the overnight trip. Our final choice was Rockpoint Hotel and Spa located at Brgy. Pansol, Calamba City Laguna. The hotel staffs was nice, even if we arrived late around 11:00 p.m. because we left Manila after office hours.
Here are some photos we had on our way to Laguna:

We were attended by the hotel staff when we arrived in the hotel. After a while, we checked in our room, had some munchies and decided to proceed to the KTV room for singing and bonding.Lots of kwentos were brought up, and it was really nice sharing and listening to their experiences, especially ate Marilyn's. :D

We decided to wake up early and dip into the pool first before we proceed to Enchanted Kingdom. (Yes, the main plan was to go to E.K. since we have discounted tickets from the office).
Anyway, the room we had doesn't have its free breakfast, so we just decided to buy these:

carbonara |
 |
clubhouse sandwich and fries |
Of course, chikahan while eating our scrumpitous breakfasts:
Then, pictorial and swimming after:
After enjoying the hot pool, we readied ourselves for our check out and travel to Sta. Rosa Laguna.

And so we went to Enchanted Kingdom. We arrived at lunch time. Since we know foods inside the amusement park is costly, we all agreed to eat at Tropical Hut first before going to the park.
And so, the E.K experience begins. 4D Theatre, Wheel of Fate and Rio Grande Rapids were the only rides we have tried because of time constraint. Since it was November, the queues for the rides were long and it ate our time of stay.

again, figuring out the map! |
We first tried the 4D, where we accompanied Dora the Explorer to her whereabout
