Hongkong Noodles and Dimsum House

Two weeks ago, my dad and I had to go to divisoria for Madge's second birthday errands. From Caloocan City North, the easiest way was to ride an FX bound to Quiapo and then ride another jeepney going to Divisoria. Because of the holiday traffic, we arrived at Quiapo around lunch time. We were planning to have a quick stop on the local fast food chains when we bumped onto the P99.00 tarp of Hongkong Noodles and Dimsum House. I assumed it was a new resto in Raon since my father, who knows everything in Manila, haven't yet heard of it too.

The P99.00 promo consists of a regular asado siopao, (plus P10.00 for bola-bola), chicken or beef mami, and a regular drink of your choice. I chose chicken mami while my dad chosebeef. We both had bola-bola for the siopao and regular iced tea for our drinks.

When we thought the mami bowl would just be a so-so, since it's already a good catch for only P99.00 pesos, we were shocked that it was a much bigger mami bowl compared to the usual from the more popular chinese restaurant. And mind you, when I thought it was just the soup which made it look full, it actually has BIG BULKS of chicken meat and beef. A great steal for less than a hundred peso lunch ei? It also has many noodles which really makes the promo more than worth its price.

The verdict? I haven't tasted the beef mami, but my dad said it was good. The chicken mami also, was really good, it's flavorful and you can really taste the yumminess of the chicken. Chicken meat? was also tasty, given it is a big piece.

The siopao was also good. My favorite bola-bola was indeed scrumptious!

Will we try this again? Of course! Since we were still bloated after our errands in divisoria. It's simply worth the penny.
