Captivated by Boholandia (Panglao Island Tour and Alona Beach)

The plan the next day was to wake up at 5:a.m. for our island hopping. Sadly, the boatman texted us that it wouldn't be possible since the sea waves aren't good and its not advisable for tourists to go island hopping. So, we all decided to have our Panglao City Tour for our second day. We don't really have any contacts in Panglao, but because of Ate Marilyn and Mich's wit and their so called 'malakas na diskarte', they managed to find Kuya Vir (tryke driver/owner) who then served as our service/guide for our tour in Panglao.

We left the resort pass 9:00 a.m. for our first stop which is Panglao Church. Bohol is known to have a number of old churches dating back to Spanish colonization. And, this is one of the most popular old churches in the island

Friends Forever..hahaha

We did a little photo op and said a little prayer inside and off we went to the next itinerary which is the Hinagdanan Cave located at Dauis, Panglao Island. Hinagdanan Cave is cave underneath which will fascinate you with natural light from the outside and with its rock formations.

The cave actually reminds me of the Underground River in Palawan. Why? I don't know. Maybe because of the ambience inside.. a wonderful work of nature.

Many souvenir shops surround the vicinity of Hinagdanan Cave. I can say that they also sell cheap finds. Plus, there are lots of stalls to choose from. I bought some of my 'pasalubongs' here.

After contenting ourselves buying things, Kuya Vir drove us to Dauis Church. Another old church resting on the beautiful island of Bohol. Alas, it wasn't open that time.

pasensya at gutom na!
After we had enough of the photography, we headed to Bohol Bee Farm to have our scrumptious dine. We ordered organic vegetables, Red Rice, Seafood Platter and Chicken. They serve bread with pesto, honey and mango spread as appetizer. We also ordered their unique ice creams, malunggay and spicy ginger flavors for dessert. The first one is good, we didn't enjoy the other one. (for me, hindi bagay maging ice cream ang ginger..haha, not a fan of spicy foods here..)

Bohol Bee farm was our last itinerary for our Panglao Island tour. We went back home after lunch and rested a bit. Then we all put on our swimwears and flew to Alona Beach. It was again, a bit frustrating because we didn't have the chance to take a dip on the beach due to the bad weather. What we did? Of course, pictorial by the shore!

ashar lang ang mga lumot mga teh

mala-Temptation Island lang naman ang peg
hindi ko rin sure ano gusto namin palabasin ditech

its Kim, Yen, Mich, Me, and Marilyn

lakas makamowdel ng mga pose!
And, after getting tired of posing for the 'pictorial', we all decided to go back to the resort. We walked from the beach to Alonaland, it was I think a 10-minute walk.

Since we're so desperate to get wet, we (Mich, Kim, I) dipped on Alonaland's pool that night. Underwater pictorials were made and we had fun posing under. (Ewan, hindi ako makakuha ng magandang kuha underwater! haha!!)

ewan ko ba at ang galing-galing ni Kim magpopo-pose underwater!

so far, eto lang ang mejo ok ako..haha

We stayed in the pool for almost an hour. After that, we bathe and went to sleep.

The second day, though not as I expected (nag assume ako sa island hopping!) was all fun and experiencing new things. Kumbaga, sinulit namin ang buong araw, touring Panglao and visiting Alona Beach.
